Shipping Policy: We do our best to process orders for delivery within 1-2 business days. We primarily use FedEx Express Overnight, 2 Day, Fedex Home Delivery, & USPS Priority Domestic & International. – We will provide you with a tracking number once your package has shipped. If you have a special request, or want to use your own account number – please let us know by email, or by phone – and we will contact you at our earliest possible time.
Shipping Costs: We use actual zone rate shipping for all packages with Fedex, so you do not pay any more than you should. All shipments over $100 are insured. *USPS Priority comes with insurance, plus a standard handling charge if you choose this method. USPS packages come standard with delivery confirmation.
Apartment & Suite Addresses - We will add a signature required on all apartment, & unit addresses primarily for your protection. If you do not want the signature required, and the item shipped is lost or stolen, we will not replace the item ordered. Please send us a forwarded email of your order stating you do not want signature required. We do our best to make sure you get your package quickly, and without incident.
* Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, & Puerto Rico will incur additional charges. If you have an address in the lower 48, that would be less expensive. Please contact us for a shipping quote before you purchase.
In the event of undeliverable packages, the purchaser is responsible for the shipping costs to and from the delivery address, and will receive an online credit for the returned goods.
Returns and Exchanges: Gear Down, Inc. prides itself on offering the highest quality merchandise. If you are not delighted with your purchase, return the unused item in its original condition in original packaging with all tags, within 30 days and we will provide you with a refund of your purchase price. Please note – the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns and/or exchanges unless Gear Down, Inc. has sent the wrong size or item. Any items lost during shipment that are not traceable to us, we can not accept responsibility. Please use a trackable method of shipment.
Cancellation of Orders and Out of Stock Items: You may cancel your order via telephone, fax or email up to the time the order is shipped. If the order has been shipped you cannot cancel the order, but must return it for a refund. Gear Down, Inc. may cancel your order or part of your order if the item is sold out and no longer available – in most instances we will contact you via telephone or email to discuss your order. In the event of partial orders Gear Down, Inc. will ship the items in stock and remove the out of stock items from your order – sending an email confirmation. If we are out of stock at the time of order, we may upgrade your product with a newer model at our expense.
