Gear Down Inc. was founded in 2002. Our passion is in the airline industry, and it is our personal mission to make a positive, and significant difference, in the Flight Crew luggage market, by supplying superior products, service, and support.
Our main objective is to provide you, the customer, with strong, durable luggage and accessories, that you can depend on. We are constantly keeping up with change, and adapting our products accordingly.
Of the Flight Attendants and Pilots we interviewed, the majority are looking for luggage that is priced right, lightweight, strong, and very durable.
We listened and went into action! We had the Vortex Crew Rollerbag developed and rigorously tested before anybody knew about us, then took all of that information from the test group and even made more significant improvements. We wanted to solidify our place in the Flight Crew luggage market with great products that you can depend on! We then went beyond a few steps and made all our products with the strongest stainless steel zippers made for luggage. We also made all of our bags out of the same Cordura Ballistic Nylon material, and added a personal touch to the design and looks of our bags.
